It is imperative to define men’s health as a multifaceted concept that embraces aspects of the male body and mind that can shape health and life experience substantially. Nevertheless, it is critical to ensure health for men since men also have perceived barriers toward seeking care including the stigma, lack of perception or even working priority over the health. Men’s health entails an invitation to preventive care, prior detection, and specific behavioral changes that will decrease the prevalence of health complications.

The main concerns when it comes to male health include heart health, prostate gland issues, emotional well-being, and sexual well-being of male individuals. Some of the diseases that affect men include; heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and prostate cancer among others; however, these can be prevented if men would be willing to undergo check-ups, adopt a healthy diet, engage in physical activities, and lead stress-free lives. Mental health is just as important as physical health because men are more likely to conceal problems such as depression or Anxiety.
